The Gitschberg Jochtal holiday region in South Tyrol is a family-friendly winter sports paradise. The ski area features 55 kilometres of slopes at snow-sure altitudes between 1,300 and 2,510 metres, accessed by 15 modern lifts. In addition to varied runs for all skill levels, it offers special children's parks and certified ski schools. Winter sports enthusiasts can also enjoy four toboggan runs, cross-country ski trails, and cleared winter hiking paths. As part of Dolomiti Superski, the region offers access to an even larger network of slopes. A major highlight is the panoramic platforms (Gitschberg, Stoanermandl, Astjoch), which provide breathtaking 360-degree views of over 500 surrounding peaks.
